A horseshoe of old carob warehouses wrapped around bobbing fishing boats, with a squat Crusader castle guarding the east end. This is the postcard of the north coast — and for once the postcard undersells it. Come at golden hour when the mountains behind turn pink, walk the castle walls for the view down into the harbour, then take any waterfront table for fresh fish. Yes, you pay a little extra for the setting. It's worth it.
